The Spark Group just got back from the second annual IMTC (International Money Transfer Conference) in LA. The conference ran Wednesday, May 30th- Friday, June 1st and took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. We were sponsors during the conference (our 5th time being sponsors of the IMTC!) which allowed us to have a booth during the trade shows that took place every day (check out the pictures). This year, we made our booth extra social by using a dry erase board to have people talking, listening, and responding to what other conference participants had to say.
The Spark Group also presented a Digital Marketing Seminar on May 30th, the IMTC’s pre-conference day. The idea behind the seminar was to show participants the importance of online marketing, to discuss the essential tools and platforms, and provide next steps in creating an integrated marketing campaign. We covered topics such as Target Market Analysis, Website Optimization & Analytics, Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing, Display Advertising, Social Media, Mobile Marketing, and Integrated Campaign Creation. Speakers came from prominent agencies such as Digital Axle, Buzzsmith Media, Pure Focus, Gluttony, Red Door Interactive, and of course, The Spark Group. For those of you who weren’t there, not to worry- we’ll be sharing the presentations really soon. And even more importantly, we’ll be presenting the seminar for its second time in the IMTC Miami 2012 Conference (October 23-26)! Make sure not to miss it. We’ll be providing more information this coming month.
All in all, the conference was a great experience. We had great conversations with great people and discussed many ways to continuously promote the Money Transfer Industry through online means. We want to thank all of you who helped make this conference, and our Digital Marketing Seminar, such a huge success. Thank you to all the participants who popped by our booth to say HELLO!, to share their time, their thoughts, their questions.. Can’t wait for the next conference!
